Good Shepherd is located in downtown Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania with members coming from throughout the Wyoming Valley. Our congregation was formed as the result of a merger between St. Paul’s and Christ Lutheran church in 1973. We are a very diverse congregation with members from many walks of life and heritage. We strive to provide opportunities in worship and education for believers of all ages and all types of families.

Our goal is to reach those who do not have a church home and are looking for a place where they can feel welcome to share their faith.

Our Chancel Choir sings at our 11:00 a.m. worship service every Sunday from September through mid-June.



The Crusader Choir is Good Shepherd's choir for elementary through junior high school age children. The Crusaders sing at the 11:00 a.m. service twice per month from September through mid-June.
