First United Methodist Church - Powell, Wyoming

Our first service was conducted in April 23, 1916. Our present sanctuary was built in 1965.

Today our church membership stands at approximately 650. We house a Headstart program and a thrift shop, the Bargain Basement Boutique. We have an active United Methodist Women unit, a United Methodist Men group, youth group, mid-week bible studies and a chancel choir. We hold two services each Sunday. Our contemporary, multi-sensory "Power-Up" service is at 9 AM; coffee fellowship is at 11:30 AM and a traditional service at 10:30 AM.

The Powell First United Methodist Church's Chancel Choir consists of high schoolers through senior citizens. They share their music ministry during the 10:30 Traditional Service.

For 90 years we have been a part of this community.
