We strive to make each Sunday morning worship a meaningful experience for all.

We offer a variety of services:

EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN WORSHIP (ELW)
The new ELW Worship book was developed with help from thousands of people through the Renewing Worship project. This new family of resources focuses on supporting all congregations and worshiping communities. The motivation was and continues to be the mission of the gospel of Jesus Christ. With a solid foundation of sample resources and evaluations, the feedback from thousands of Lutheran congregations has guided every aspect of the Evangelical Lutheran Worship book. There are 10 different liturgical worship settings – a variety sure to please everyone in someway!

WITH ONE VOICE (WOV)
With One Voice is a supplemental hymnal of the ELCA and was published in 1995. The “blue” hymnal includes a couple additional liturgical settings and some more contemporary hymn.

YLVISAKER
Is a Holy Communion Musical Setting by John Ylvisaker, a more contemporary Worship.

CHICAGO FOLK SERVICE
The Chicago Folk Service is a complete communion celebration by Art Gorman. The text was drawn from several sources of Western worship, but key references were the Service Book and Hymnal of the L.C.A. and Contemporary Worship Services, No. 2 of the Inter-Lutheran commission on Worship.

Members of Hope Lutheran that serve on the worship/music team provide both traditional and contemporary music during services.
