A Rich History…A Bright Future
Denbigh Baptist Church was established in 1774, though the history of the church dates back to the early 1600’s. 230 years and 31 pastors later, we continue to base all that we do on the Bible, believing that it is God’s Word.
Our family has grown and our ministry has continually expanded over these many years. We now have numerous ministries to people from many walks of life, including a large Christian school that reaches many families who are not directly a part of our church.
We are looking forward with great anticipation to the future because we truly believe that the most fruitful days of ministry for Denbigh Baptist Church are still ahead.Music Ministry
Our desire is to worship and glorify the Lord through our music. We encourage the participation of our congregation as well as offering many opportunities for individuals to be involved.Adult Choir
Sunday morning worship services feature our 35 – 40 voice choir. The Adult Choir ministers each Sunday morning as well as in musicals at Christmas, Easter and July 4th.
Special Music
We are very blessed with many talented members who are willing to share their God-given musical talents with us through solos, duets, trios, quartets, small ensembles and instrumentals. A variety of special music is planned for Sunday morning and evening worship services.
Worship Teams
Various groups lead us as we sing praise to the Lord during many of our services.
Instruments
Occasions are available for instrumentalists to accompany congregational singing on selected Sunday evenings or to provide special music during a Sunday service.Sunday Evening Music Program
Each Sunday evening, we have a different musical emphasis. The musical portion of the evening service may consist of singing congregational favorites from the hymnal, scripture songs where the words are taken direct from the Bible, or newer songs with a strong focus on praising and worshiping God. DBC youth also lead us as we sing together some evenings. This variety gives us an opportunity to offer ourselves to God.
