Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church - Leesburg, Virginia
The music program at St. Andrew confirms a sense of fellowship and community as we sing and play together the great hymns of the church. The program uses this art form to create atmosphere, heighten a mood, and strengthen the attributes of awe, mystery, penitence, and praise – necessary for a successful worship experience.
Music in the church has one great purpose: "Soli Deo
Gloria – To God Alone Be The Glory," a return in kind for God’s gift of beauty to humankind. Through inspired music, we praise and pray and preach. With the prophet Isaiah, we seek to answer the question, "Who will go for us?" "Here am I, Lord, send me!"

“The Praise Experience”, formerly known as the Saturday Night Band, is one of St. Andrew’s talented musical groups. This band strives to assist in the leadership of the St. Andrew Contemporary worship service by leading the congregation in songs focused on the theme of the service. Inviting others to join the worship of Jesus Christ through song is a main goal of The Praise Experience.
Several styles of music are preformed. The Praise Experience is influenced by several genres of music including classic and modern rock, praise music, blue grass, folk, and classical music. Popular contemporary and Christian pop are the most favored. Occasionally original songs written by the band members are played.
The Adult Choir participates at the 11:00 service most Sundays except the second Sunday of the month.
The St. Andrew Bell Choir plays regularly at worship services.
