Worship Schedule

Our 8:30 a.m. Early Service is held in our chapel. It is essentially a "Reader's Digest© Condensed" version of worship--abbreviated and informal, but with all of the major features of a the full worship service. It includes a prayer of confession, a sermon, an affirmation of faith, and a couple of hymns.

Our 10:30 a.m. Worship Service is a very traditional Presbyterian service, with a focus on liturgy, scripture readings, the sermon, and prayer. This service also includes the musical offerings of a very dedicated and talented Sanctuary Choir and other musicians.

Audio recording, and cassette tapes of of each week's sermon may be ordered through the Church Office.

Music

Our choral program consists of five choirs and encompasses ages 3 to 70-ish. The choirs are Melody Makers (ages 3-6), Joyful Notes (grades 2-6), Youth Choir (grades 7-12), and Common Souls (adult women). The Chancel Choir, the loyal group which sings for all our worship services, will also participate in the program. There are two handbell ensembles; the St. Sidonius Choir and the St. Cecilia Choir.

First Presbyterian tries to be an inviting Church.
