At University Christian Church, powerful preaching has always been an important element of worship. The spoken truths contained in sermons assist us in our daily lives, just as we relate Biblical truths to our living.

Worship of the Almighty God is the highest priority for University Christian Church, and worship through music is an important avenue to worship. Indeed, music is a window through which we can better see the glory of God. Since it’s founding in 1873, University Christian Church has given the music ministry an integral, important part in the life of the church. Our mission is to ensure that this rich heritage will continue.

Our music program offers four choral groups:

Chancel Choir - Adult Choir provides music for 11 a.m. worship.

Alleluia Singers - Grades third-fifth.

Celebration Singers - Sing three Sundays each month.

Carol Choir - Grades kindergarten-second.

Handbells - Five handbell ensembles.
