At South Park Baptist Church we want our visitors to feel welcome, whether they have just recently found our church or they have been to our church many times.
Our worship service meets in the auditorium. You may sit anywhere. Our worship services are best classified as blended, so you may hear many different styles of music.
The music department at South Park Baptist Church has a markedly blended style of worship. On any given Sunday the music may range from reflective tone of the old hymns to the melancholy close harmony of 1950's Southern Gospel Music to the upbeat praise songs that have defined contemporary Christian music.
The South Park Baptist Church Praise Band is made up primarily of teenagers. These individuals have a desire to worship God through music. They focus their attention on a more contemporary style of music.
The South Park Baptist Church Ensemble plays during the Sunday morning worship service. The group is all volunteer and consists of both students and adults. The range of instruments is from brass to string.
Our South Park Baptist Church Choir is made up of people from all walks of life. Some with formal music training and some without, but all have a desire to praise God through singing.
South Park Baptist Church is the home base for Southern Gospel quartet “Heaven’s Harbor.” “Heaven’s Harbor” is made up of two former members of the “King’s River” quartet, Jon Cooper and Randy Edmonds, along with two new members, Mike Turner and Tim Turner. Jon, Mike and Tim are all members of South Park.
