Looking back through the years, we have seen God's hand in the life of First Baptist Dallas. But our vision is to not just honor that past. First Baptist Dallas is here to impact lives today with the love of Christ as we follow God's lead into the future.

Worship is vital to the life and work of God's people. At First Baptist Dallas, music & worship plays an integral role in helping our church accomplish her mission. From Children's Choirs beginning at age 3 to dynamic youth choir and orchestra programs, to our adults in the Sanctuary Choir & Orchestra, we are committed to teaching one another to love and worship God, and to introducing people to Jesus Christ through a variety of musical presentations at the church, around the city of Dallas, and around the world.

The Chapel Choir & Orchestra from First Baptist Dallas, Texas consists of approximately 150 high school students (9th-12th grade) representing more than 30 high schools in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The Chapel Choir & Orchestra began touring in 1959, and in the forty-eight years following they have toured the world singing and playing music ranging from classical, traditional and spirituals to Broadway, Southern Gospel and the latest in contemporary Christian music. Throughout that period, they have maintained a high standard of excellence and have been privileged to sing for Presidents, as well as leaders from many foreign nations.

All Children’s Choirs help to lead in worship by singing in our corporate worship services, participating in our exciting Christmas music event, and presenting an awesome musical or concert at the end of the year.

The Sanctuary Choir leads in worship each Sunday morning at 8:00 and 10:50 along with the Sanctuary Orchestra.

Handbells offer a children's ensemble and three adult ensembles, including: Belles is an ensemble of ladies playing two-octave music.
Resonance is an advanced ensemble geared toward playing difficult three to four-octave music. Sanctuary Bells is a full five-octave ensemble playing a wide variety of music.
