Wilshire Baptist Church is a Christian community of believers who meet weekly for worship and spiritual growth. Our mission is to build a community of faith shaped by the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

In the Baptist tradition, we operate with a congregational form of governance. Members of the congregation collectively make decisions about the church's life and ministries through committees, ministry teams and quarterly church conferences.

Wilshire has developed a reputation across Dallas for excellence in a traditional worship style, outstanding messages from the pulpit, thoughtful Bible study classes, high-quality music and extraordinary missions involvement.

Wilshire is alive with the sound of music. Music forms an integral part of all our worship experiences, and many of our special events are built around music.

The Sanctuary Choir is Wilshire's primary choral group, rehearsing weekly and singing weekly in Sunday morning worship. This is a volunteer group of male and female adult singers who love making a contribution through music.

Our Youth Choir sings often in Sunday morning worship.

Wilshire Wind Symphony plays for both morning worship services on the 2nd Sunday of the month.

The Carillon Ringers is Wilshire's adult handbell group and plays mainly a 5-octave set of handbells, but can play up to 7 octaves. Handchimes are also utilized. The Carillon Ringers play once a month in both morning worship services, and also participate in handbell workshops and other playing occasions.
