Our church is a great mix of people who come from a variety of backgrounds. We live all around the Metroplex. We come from a whole bunch of different places in the world. We are from all age groups. We are from different economic and racial groups. We are involved in all sorts of careers and hobbies. We are married. We are single. We are in school.

We are connected, though. Through the love of Christ, we have a unity that makes our church special. Whether it's Sunday mornings where we join together in worship and study or when we walk the plains of Africa sharing God's message, we have a bond that helps us become one body.

The Worship Ministries of First Baptist Church, Arlington, range from choral groups to drama casts, from instrumental ensembles to TV crews. All of these teams exist to enhance our worship, to fully utilize the gifts of our people and to reach out into a world that needs to know Christ.

The Sanctuary Choir is our main worship choir each Sunday morning for worship. We are made up of singers 18-80+ who feel called to serve, lifting their voices in worship before the throne of God. We do a variety of anthems, covering many styles and levels of difficulty. We also perform at least one major classical work each year, along with
many other special services.

Our Praise Team Ministry is made up of adults who seek to glorify God through corporate worship. We currently have 5 adult teams who lead in worship regularly.

Our Instrumental Groups are instrumentalists of all levels and abilities.

We have two adult Handbell Teams as well as children's handbells.

The Rhythm Sections of First Baptist are composed of acoustic guitars, electric guitars, electric bass, drums (Roland V-drums), auxiliary percussion, electric violin, piano and keyboard. We have many gifted people with varied musical backgrounds.
