Jesus Christ express command was that we "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). This is our privilege and our joy at Cedar Springs, whether we are ministering to the thousands of people on our campus every week, partnering with those who serve our region and our nation, or working among cultures that have never yet heard the name of Jesus in their own language.
Music in the New Testament, when it is mentioned, is to be used to reinforce Christ's word in us (Col 3.16). We are even told to address "one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs." (Eph 5.19)
Our Sanctuary Choir leads in the worship services during the school year and sings special services at Christmas and Easter.Our Worship Band enhances the congregational worship music in the Sunday worship services, as well as for other special services.
Our Bells of Grace Handbell Choir is pleased to bring this centuries old tradition of music to Cedar Springs. Bells of Grace uses five octaves of Schulmerich Bells, proudly and carefully cast in Sellersville, PA. The richness of the tone produced by these bells allows us to perform a wide variety of musical genres – from the uplifting beat of an African praise song, to the soul-tugging sounds of the Celts, to the comforting tunes of familiar hymns.
