The Worship Ministry of Sevier Heights is here to make fully devoted followers of Christ by leading people in worship and equipping them to serve through music, media and drama.
The Celebration Choir is a group of adults committed to leading our church in authentic, exciting worship. They lead worship in each of the morning and evening worship services at Sevier Heights in addition to participating in annual recordings, tours, revivals, special events and the Living Christmas Tree.
The Instrumental Music Ministry has always been a vital part of worship at Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Our 60-member Celebration Orchestra rehearses weekly and leads worship during every Sunday morning and Sunday evening service. The Celebration Orchestra accompanies congregational worship with the Celebration Choir as well as performing orchestra specials and recording yearly projects.
Along with the Orchestra is an exciting array of instrumental ensembles, including the SHBC woodwind ensemble, brass quintet, jazz ensemble and the popular SHBC bluegrass band.
The Children’s Choir program at Sevier Heights Baptist Church is a graded choir program that includes children ages three through 6th grade. The older choirs sing in evening worship services several times a year. The 1st through 6th graders present an annual spring musical with drama, choreography and music.
