Adult Choir The adult choir at First Reformed Church has been an integral part of the church's life for many years. It has served to lead in worship in many different aspects of the church life from providing special music in worship to providing worship through extended musical offerings such as cantatas. Our activities include opportunities to present the gospel in song at communities as well as regular trips to Branson, Missouri, where we have performed on two different occasions. We continue to look for people that God has blessed with the talent to life their voice in praise. Anyone with an interest in the adult choir is encouraged to contact Lyle Kroon, director of music. |

Adult Praise Team The adult praise team has been leading the congregation in worship for a number of years and was the first music group outside the adult choir. As a praise team, we come together to prepare songs that will lead the congregation into worship through lifting our Lord's name in song. The praise team has made it an annual event to gather for an evening out with pizza and then going to the Union Gospel Mission to lead the worship service for those who may come to meet our Lord in that setting. The Lord has moved us to life our voice in song as we reach out to others through ministry. |

Children's Hand Bell Choir Our children have taken a strong interest playing hand bells. The children's hand bell choir consists of 15-20 children who come together on Sunday afternoons to practice and prepare themselves to play in worship services for prelude and offering. It is an opportunity for our children to experience leading others to draw closer to the Lord in song. Inquiries for your children's participation should be directed to Pam Green. |

Handbell Choir Ministry One of the newest ministries to become active at First Reformed Church is the hand bell choir ministry. We were able to purchase a set of four octaves of Schulmerich hand bells through the generosity of our members, many in memory of loved ones who have passed on into glory. The hand bells have added a glorious sound to the festive seasons of the church. Most of our players are new to ringing, so it has become a wonderful experience to praise God in this new way. We have also had the opportunity to go into our world and bring pleasure and joy to others with our music. Hand bell rehearsals are held weekly in the East room. Anyone with an interest in this area is encouraged to contact Lyle Kroon, director of music. |
