First Baptist Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina is a regional church of over 6000 members known as "The Fellowship of Encouragement."

The music ministry of First Baptist Church exists to provide various opportunities of genuine praise and worship, and to use our musical talents and spiritual giftedness to reach Spartanburg and beyond for Jesus Christ.

Our Sanctuary Choir leads in Sunday morning worship, presents special programs each year and sings at conferences and conventions.

Our Praise Team is an ensemble of six to twelve vocalists who lead in contemporary worship in the Celebration Services.

The Sanctuary Orchestra is an integral part of the music ministry of First Baptist Church. Whether it's beginning a worship service with an inspiring prelude or joining the Sanctuary Choir in leading praise and worship, the Orchestra's main focus is helping others glorify God through music.

Yesterday's Teens (age 55+) is a group of senior adults serving the Lord through music.

Mirror Image (grades 9-12) is our senior high choir, joins with Key Change each fall to present a musical for our church and community.

Key Change (grades 6-8) is our junior high choir.

Our Children's Choirs are graded for age 3 through 5th grade. They present special programs each Christmas and Spring.
