Music Ministry Overview

This is an overview of the age graded vocal, instrumental and creative arts ministries of FBC Myrtle Beach, SC.

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir is for any adult with a heart for worshipping our amazing God through singing. They provide worship leadership each Sunday at the 11:00 a.m. Celebration Worship service, present seasonal worship musicals and enjoy a wonderful spirit of fellowship together. Led by Don Hansen. Rehearses on Wednesday, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Harbor Light Singers

This auditioned vocal ensemble provides worship leadership each Sunday at the 8:30 a.m. Classic Worship service and sings for other church and community functions. Led by Don Hansen. Rehearses on Tuesday, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Worship Band

This auditioned instrumental group (drums, bass, keyboards, guitars) for adults and youth provides worship leadership each Sunday in our 11:00 a.m. Celebration Worship service and our Sunday evening Blended Worship service. Led by Don Hansen. Rehearses on Tuesday at 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Ladies Handbell Choir

This auditioned instrumental group leads worship periodically and plays for other church and community events. Led by Sarah Watts. Rehearses on Wednesday, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Youth Vocal Ensemble

For all middle and high school students with a heart to glorify God through Contemporary Christian and Praise and Worship music. This ensemble periodically leads worship in our morning and evening worship services. They have presented seasonal dramatic musicals and participated in summer music & missions trips. Led by Don Hansen. Rehearses on Sunday, 5:00 – 5:45 p.m.

Crossway Choir

For all children grades 2-6 who want to learn more about glorifying God though music and worship arts. They provide worship leadership several times each year, present seasonal musicals and participate in an annual summer music camp at White Oak Conference Center. Led by Don Hansen. Rehearses Wednesday, 5:30 – 6:20 p.m.

Cherub Choir

For all children age 4 - grades 1 who want to learn more about glorifying God though music and worship arts. Led by Mendi Haldi, Meloney Cooke, Sharon Russell and Nicole Weaver. Rehearses on Wednesday, 5:30 – 6:20 p.m.

Youth Praise Team

Vocal, bass, drum, and guitar breakout training classes. Let's rediscover that we are..
