Ministries – Music

The adult choir sings in many of the worship services. Piano, organ and occasionally other instruments are played. There is often special music. We seek to have a mix of contemporary and traditional music.

Our Mission

Calvary Baptist Church welcomes all people and joyfully serves the Lord by ministering to its members and neighbors and by sharing God's Word through worship, teaching, hospitality and discipleship.

Our Organization

The church is self-governing which means no outside group has any authority over the conduct of the church. A Servant Leader Team, elected by the congregation, is the governing board of the church. In addition there are committees for worship, discipleship, property, youth ministry, social life, etc. We seek to have people working according to their gifts for ministry. The congregation meets quarterly to discuss issues of importance to the congregation. One of those meetings is the annual meeting.
