The church which would become St. James was formed by German Lutherans in 1789. We are located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and have a congregation of approximately 3,079 members.

Our mission is to respond to God's abundant grace by being hearers, proclaimers and doers of the Word.

Our music program enriches our worship life at St. James.

Adult Choir - Designed for those interested in choral discipline and commitment.

Martin Luther Choir - Our adult choir that sing once a month.

Koinonia Choir - Sixth through twelfth grade youth.

Junior Choir - Fourth and fifth grade children.

Alleluia Choir - First, second and third grade children.
