OUR MUSIC MINISTRY
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir at First United Methodist Church in Stillwater is an integral part of the worship ministry. The choir sings for both Sunday morning worship services every week of the year.
Fifty-five volunteers make up one of the finest church choirs in Oklahoma. The choir sings a vast variety of material and is excited about the challenge of old masterworks as well as a good deal of new material.
Revelation
The Youth Choir at First United Methodist Church in Stillwater, is an actively growing ministry. Youth in the sixth grade through seniors in high school are welcome to be a part of this highly energetic ensemble. This group sings numerous times for both morning worship services.
Children's Choir
The Children's Choir at First United Methodist Church in Stillwater is a vital part of our extensive children's ministries. They bring their music to worship about once a month during the 11:10 a.m. service.
Jubilee Ringers
The Jubilee Ringers are the one of the fine music ensembles at First United Methodist Church in Stillwater. Every Wednesday evening during the school year at 5:00 p.m. you can hear the hand bell choir practice in the music room on the first floor.
The bell ringers play for Sunday morning worship about once a month during the school year and other members ring bells for additional musical color on special occasions.
The hand bell choir typically plays music for 3 to 4 octaves of bells as we have a four octave set and utilize them all to keep the players challenged and to add as much expression to our worship as possible.
Our ringers include college students, college professors, business professionals and active retirees.
Our Sunday Morning Services
8:30 a.m. and 11:10 a.m.
