Our focus will be the same, searching for what God has to say to his people today, but we’ll get there with contemporary Christian music offered in a comfortably casual style and warmly worshipful atmosphere. We’ll sing a new song of worship to keyboard, with guitars and percussion, and make a joyful noise of praise and prayer.
Music has always played an important part of the life of Westbrook Park Church, and continues to be. We have four singing and 2 ringing choirs, plus an orchestra.
Our Sanctuary Choir - college thru adult. This choir sings every Sunday.
The Junior Choir - 4th - 7th grades. This choir sings every other month during worship, and puts on two musicals each year.
The Primary Choir - kindergarten - 4th grade. This choir sings every other month, and performs a musical with the Junior twice a year.
Our Adult Handbell Choir - college thru adult. They ring on a regular basis during worship, and from time to time, perform outside the church. We have a five octave set of Schlmerich handbells.
The Choirchime Choir - 5th - 10th grades. This group rings on a regular basis.In addition to the above choirs, we host many musical groups in the Canton area, as well as offer our own concerts. Here are some events that we have hosted/provided this Fall: Carillon Concert on the Lawn, Members Piano recital, Canton Civic Opera, The Canton MacDowell Club, Thanksgiving Choral Concert, Piano/Organ Duet Concert, and Children’s Musical.
