Make it a point to come a little early so you can get settled and prepare for worship. Traditional worship in the Episcopal Church is very reverent, beautiful, and focused on the mystery of God’s presence coming to us through God’s Word (the Bible) and Sacrament (Holy Communion).
Before the service you’ll find people praying, relaxing, or reflecting quietly in an atmosphere of thoughtful silence before the service begins. The page numbers for the written prayers and lyrics to the sung hymns will be found in the bulletin you’ll receive when you come in. After the service please stay for coffee hour where you can meet new people and catch up with old friends.
Our Sunday Night Praise 5:00pm
Please come in early so that you can get a cup of coffee and chat with other worshippers before the service begins. The atmosphere at this service is casual and people will be freely visiting before and after the service (please stay afterwards for the home cooked meal and dessert!).The entire service is projected on the screen so that you don’t have to worry about finding your way through any books. The music is more contemporary led by praise singers and guitar and often other instruments too.
