First Church was established in 1874 and is a beautiful old church in the heart of downtown Fargo. We often refer to this site as the "Downtown Church." We hold services at the two locations listed below.

Prayer & Praise Service:
•Sunday mornings in 2nd floor chapel
•Meditative service
•Pastor delivers weekly message
•30 minutes long
Attended by early risers and young families who want to attend worship together prior to Sunday Education classes."Journeys in Reel Time" Service:
•Sunday mornings in second floor chapel
•Children's Education - K-6th grade attend first 15 minutes with adult
•Pastor delivers short message to introduce the day's Sunday School
theme
•Up-beat, casual contemporary music provided by Joy for the Journey,
Vocals, Drums, Keyboard, Guitars, Some with a "Country Kick".
•Pastor delivers short message with supporting media from film / TV
May include short discussion topics for small groups or whole group
Includes a meditation time during which communion is available every Sunday and candles may be lit in remembrance. 60 minutes long - 15 minutes with children, 45 minutes worship. Many young couples attend while their children are in Children's Education, along with others who also attend the 8:30 or 10:45 services. Nursery care available
Traditional Worship Service:
• Sunday mornings in main sanctuary
• Traditional worship music. Pipe organ, traditional hymns with some
contemporary hymns. Adult choir sings an anthem most Sundays.
Special music offered some Sundays by other musical groups.

Saturday - Come As You Are Casual Contemporary
Our Pastor will share the same message that is used during the Journeys in Reel Time worship each Sunday. The music will be lead by a group of guitar players and singers. Just remember this is come as you are - right from work or play, the soccer field or before going out with friends.
