The congregation and staff at St. John Lutheran church welcome all people to come, just as they are, to experience the presence of our living God through His ministry of Word and Sacraments.

St. John Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in American, and the Western North Dakota Synod with headquarters located in Bismarck. St. John has approximately 1,500 members. The congregation hosts a full program of music, education and service to the community.

Senior Choir
Handbell ChoirThe St. John’s Senior Choir is an integral part of the worship service from Labor Day until the third Sunday in May. Choral anthems are chosen to enhance the text for the day. They sing during the 10:30 a.m. service on the first, fourth and fifth Sunday and at 8:00 am on the third Sunday of the month. The repertoire that the choir draws from includes all styles of traditional choral music. Anthems are selected for seasonal appropriateness, and connection with the texts of the day. Within a church year, this group manages to span the styles from pre-Bach to contemporary, gospel and jazz.
Our Handbell Choir participates in worship services throughout the year, and for special services such as Easter, Christmas, etc. The Handbell Choir primarily consists of adults.
Besides singing, our Children’s Choirs also use instruments, sign language and other “props” (like hard hats) and participate periodically in our services and on special occasions.
