Victorious Life is a growing church of Christian believers based in the City of Troy and serving individuals and families throughout the Capital Region. We come from various backgrounds and experiences, but have all encountered the love, the grace and the mercy of Jesus Christ.

Our Music Ministry

The music ministry of Victorious Life is comprised of trained and untrained musicians and singers who, together, desire to use their musical talents to glorify God in worship. Because of our diverse congregation, the music of our services varies in style ranging from contemporary praise and worship, to classic hymns and gospel selections.

The music ministry is currently organized into two bands which alternate Sunday services. Each band consists of a piano, keyboards, electric and acoustic guitars, electric bass, drums, percussion and several singers. Occasionally, additional instruments are added such as flute, trumpet or other brass or woodwind instruments.

The music ministry also participates in several local venues such as Troy's Victorian Stroll, Troy's Faith Festival, the Capital Parade of Praise and occasional concert venues. In 2001 Victorious Life produced it's first music CD, "New Life in the City - songs of Good News and hope from Victorious Life Christian Church" The CD is a compilation of original songs written and performed by members of the music ministry. Songs from the CD have gotten air play on several local radio stations. Proceeds from the sale of the CD support Arise and Build Community Ministries.

As a Spirit-filled church, we believe in expressing our worship of God through dance, singing, raising of hands, clapping, and other expressions found in the Bible. We hope you can join us!
