We stand at the corner of Montgomery and Fayette Streets in the heart of the City of Syracuse. To the north of us is City Hall; to the South, the County Government. In our Cathedral House is one of the largest feeding and job training programs for the homeless and working poor.
Music at St. Paul's
Cathedral Choir
St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral offers one of the finest music programs in Central New York. Offering music in the sacred and liturgical repertoire, St. Paul's continues its tradition to provide many unique musical opportunities for the entire community. St. Paul's music program includes adult and youth choirs, providing music at weekly services in the Anglican tradition as well as Evensong services and music for the high liturgical seasons of Christmas and Easter.
Other musical offerings include concerts by guest artists from the Central New York community, the United States and Europe.
The Cathedral Choir provides music for the services of worship at the Cathedral, for regular Sunday liturgy, Evensongs, and services contracted by the Diocese.
The Cathedral Choir offers a traditional Good Friday Masterwork including soloist, orchestra and special guest conductors. These works have included the Durufle, Faure and Mozart Requiems and the Haydn and Pergolessi Stabat Maters.
The Cathedral Choir has been recorded and broadcast by WCNY Classic FM Radio.
