First established in 1931, our focus on the risen Lord's presence in family, community, and the daily events that shape our lives, continues to provide comfort, direction, support and joy in this rapidly changing world. We are a family of believers dedicated to proclaiming Christ's message of love to people of all ages, in all aspects of life.
Music is God's creation. In Luther's words, music "comes from the sphere of miraculous audible things, just like the word of God". In response to the gifts of God, we see nothing but God's love for us and for the world he created and therefore we rejoice and sing.
Music can capture our imaginations and lead us into the mysteries of God and his gracious will. For Luther, music was a practical art, closely tied to theology, to be used in the praise of God and in the proclamation of the Word.
Our choirs provide musical leadership for our worship, and music training and fellowship opportunities for our members.
Carol Choir - children age four through first grade. They sing about once a month.
Junior Choir - children in grades two through five. They sing once or twice a month.
Youth Choir - Middle School students. They sing about twice a month and all festivals.
Teen Choir - High School students (and Middle School boys with changed voices). They sing about twice a month and all festivals.
Chime Choir - a ringing ensemble for kids in grades 4 and up.
Senior Choir - an adult SATB ensemble that sing for worship every Sunday and all festivals.
Redeemer Ringers - adults and older teens. They play from time to time as well as for most festival services.
