Trinity Choir
The Trinity Choir is one of the country's pre-eminent professional vocal ensembles, renowned for is annual Messiah concert and the diversity of its repertoire.
The Trinity Choir's 2007-2008 concert season features Early Music masterpieces from Purcell, Monteverdi, Haydn, Handel and more. Each concert, intimately presented in the Gothic magnificence of Trinity Church, is conducted by Owen Burdick and features the purest of voices in changing arrangements from full choir to small ensembles and solo performances. The Trinity Choir is joined again this season by the internationally acclaimed Rebel Baroque Orchestra performing on period instruments.
Family Choir
The Family Choir of Trinity Parish was founded in 1967.
Today, as many as 50 people sing songs of praise for fellow worshipers and community members at select Sunday services and parish events during the performance season, which runs from September through May. During the season, the Family Choir performs approximately one Sunday per month, typically at the 11:15 am Holy Eucharist at Trinity Church on the first Sunday of each month.
Trinity Choristers
Lower Manhattan's community youth choir. The Chorister program brings together a diverse group of children from Lower Manhattan and the metropolitan area.Trinity's state-of-the art digital organ was given its formal debut on September 11, 2003 at a performance of William Albright's "Song to David."
Many of the parish's musical events are webcast, so even if you can't make it to our home in New York City, you can watch from your home online.
