St. Peter's Choir School is a musical program for boys and girls, age 8 through grade 8, based at St. Peter's Church. It is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York and is affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music.
The full choir, currently numbering 40 singers, consists of these young choristers plus high school age and adult singers, many of whom received their early choral experience here at St. Peter's.
Every Friday at 12:30 from mid-September to mid-June our organist and guest performers present free half-hour concerts on the magnificent pipe organ in St. Peter's Church.
Listeners are invited to come and experience a wide variety of music on one of the finest instruments in the Capital Region.
