The worship and Music Ministries at St Paul's United Methodist Church exist to glorify God and to further his work in the church and to those around us. We provide leadership in meaningful worship opportunities, provide opportunities for persons to use their gifts and talents in service to God and the church, provide training and educational opportunities in musical and worship skills for all ages.
Chancel Choir - This is our primary service choir with responsibilities for the 10:45 services, as well as other special music programs throughout the year.
Praise Band - This group has primary responsibility for leading worship at the 9:30 am service. In addition, they will be helping at occasional 10:45 am services and at the 4:00 pm Christmas Eve service.
Sunrise Singers - This choir is the service choir for the 8:15 am service.
Concert Ensemble - This select, auditioned chamber choir is chosen for their musical savvy. They are the service choir for the 10:45 service approximately once every 6 weeks. They also perform on our concert series as well as for some community functions.
Orchestra - The orchestra plays at least once a month for one of the Sunday services.
Bells of the Valley - Our handbell choirs that performs at least monthly in church as well as performing concerts during the year, often appearing as special guests on concerts of other groups in the city, and being one of the major groups in MCLC.
Chapel Bells - Is the longest-running bell choir at St. Paul's. They have a proud history of excellence and still perform very well. They play for church about once every six weeks, as well as sharing in special concerts.
Elizabeth Ringers - Our training choir for handbell players. They perform for one of the services once or twice a semester, as well as participating in the other bell activities.
Men's Choir - Are the service choir for that morning for the 8:15 service.
