Saint Luke's Church is a community dedicate to praising God and to making a difference in the world. This is your church, and we welcome you to claim it. Here we share the Good News of Jesus Christ - that God loves each of us, always has loved us and that the Kingdom is at hand. Here no one is an outsider.
To enhance our worship experience on Sunday morning St. Luke's seeks to provide a wide variety of innovative music. Customarily, on the first Sunday of the month we have our Youth Choir performing, on the second and fourth Sundays guest performers singing classical music and the third Sunday our 4/5th Gospel String Band, including guest artists. Following the service people are invited to gather in the parish hall for refreshments and conversation.
Most Sundays congregation hymns and service music, drawn primarily from The Hymnal 1982, are played by our excellent Organist.
On Sunday morning featured guest performers have included:
•Valerie Bernhardt, highly acclaimed opera singer.
•Travis Wetzel, master of contemporary fiddle music, mandolin and
guitar.
•Mike Esposito, reso-guitar master, singer and songwriter.
Preaching is important at St. Luke's. It is often provocative and always challenging. We invite you to listen to the sermons that have been preached during the past year by Fr. Bill and others. Audio files can be found on our web site.
Here everyone is welcome at God's table. After all, this is your church!
