Saint Adalbert parish is a lively and caring community filled with joy and enthusiasm for Christ and His Gospel. Everything we do and offer comes to us through the Holy Eucharist. Our parish is fortunate to have a variety of Masses on the weekend with inspiring and uplifting music and singing.
Our Music Ministry
Adult Choir- St. Cecilia
Shortly after the founding of Saint Adalbert’s Parish on May 15, 1905, the need for a church choir became apparent. Through the efforts of its founder, the Rev. Msgr. Vitus A. Masnicki, P. A., a mixed adult choir was organized. This group chose as their patron, St. Cecilia, the patron of musicians and singers.
The adult choir sings at the 10:45 AM (Polish) Mass each Sunday (from mid-September through mid-June) and at other special Liturgical celebrations throughout the year.
Handbell Choir
The Hand Bell Choir of St. Adalbert Parish began to ring in the spring of 2002. Our Hand Bell Choir was organized by Music Director Jarek Kaczynski who saw Hand Bell Choir in one of the Music Convention and started to convince the Pastor at that time, Msgr. Marczewski, to purchase Hand Bells for St. A’s.
The Hand Bell Choir plays major holidays and at major celebrations.
Cantors
At weekend Masses, holy days, weddings, funerals and special liturgies, cantor lead the assembly in song.
