Atonement Lutheran Church of Missoula is an exciting and dynamic congregation located in southwest Missoula.
Our congregation has a high commitment to diverse and welcoming worship and music and uses a variety of worship forms and styles at our two Sunday morning worship.
Worship at Atonement
Worship, centered in the Word and in the Sacraments, strengthens and renews the people of Atonement as they proclaim God’s saving Gospel of salvation by grace alone. Holy Communion is celebrated at every Sunday service, following the traditional Lutheran liturgy, but using a variety of musical settings.
Choirs:
Senior Choir (high school age - adult)
Sonlight Singers (grades 2-6)
Singers:
Liturgist for Sunday morning worship.
Soloist or small group ‘special’ music.
Instrumentalists:
Guitars/percussion for “Chosen People” and “Let Us Worship”.
Strings/woodwinds for “Now the Feast”, “Bread of Life”.
Brass/woodwinds for “Bread of Life”.
Solo instrument or ensemble music for meditation before or during services.
Pianists/organists to accompany worship services or accompany soloists/ensembles.
