Choirs of St. Helena's Cathedral

Cathedral Choir 

The Cathedral Choir sings for all 11:00 a.m. Masses and Solemnities. This choir is open to boys 7 years and older and all young people (of high school age) and adults. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the choir gallery of the cathedral.

They sing choral literature from all musical periods (Gregorian Chant, renaissance, baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary). The choir season begins on the third Sunday of September through Corpus Christi Sunday. Schola of Cantors

The Schola of Cantors sings at all Sunday liturgies and occasionally for Feast Days during the week. They also sing for wedding and funeral liturgies. This group consists of Cathedral Choir members who are willing to volunteer to sing at these extra times.

St. Cecelia Choir

This choir is open to all girls ages 7 through 15.  Rehearsals are on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in  the choir loft of the cathedral.  This choir sings regularly at the 5:15 p.m. Vigil Mass on Saturdays.
