We gathered in 1960, and since then have continued to look for and tried to follow the example and spirit of the Christ who cares for and about all within the human family.
We are a local church community of women, men, youth and children who seek to worship and serve God in the midst of a progressive understanding of our place and call in a diverse, exciting and promise-filled creation.
Worship is central to Mayflower. Each Sunday people gather at 10:00 am to give thanks and celebrate, to be renewed and challenged. After announcements, a prelude provides opportunity for reflection.
The choir, composed of 16-24 people, provides special music and responses including the Gathering Song and an anthem each Sunday, September to May. The youth choir sings two songs each six weeks or on special occasions like Mother's Day. Mayflower is fortunate to have many trained musicians and vocalists who share their gifts and talents.
During the summer, special soloists and instrumentalists provide music."No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome."
