Music is and always has been an integral part of the human spirit. It motivates, saddens, angers, and enlivens us. It always has been and is a big part of our worship to God. He has created music as a unique way for us to praise Him, worship Him, and show our deep love for Him. In our worship of God, music can stir our hearts, break down barriers, and allow us to be more receptive to God's presence and love. From the earliest events recorded in the Bible, man has used music to express himself to God.

The Music Ministry of First Assembly is comprised of volunteers striving to serve the Lord through the gift of music. The Music Ministry of St. Charles First Assembly offers many opportunities including:

Worship Team
These teams of vocalists and musicians lead a time of praise and worship at every service.

Choir
The choir sings each Sunday morning under the direction of our Music Pastor. They provide special musical selections and support in the leading of worship in all services.

Drama
Each year we reach out to the community and share the gospel message through dramatic performance. Music, drama, lighting, sound, costume and make-up are major components of this ministry. In addition, we often incorporate drama skits and video clips into our services.
