In February 1964, New Hope Baptist Church was founded with seventy-six charter members and was located at the Elm Grove School in East Lexington Road in Independence, Missouri.

We are an Independent, Fundamental, Premillenial, Missionary, Baptist Church.

Music has always been a part of worship. New Hope Baptist Church considers music to be an important aspect of its ministry. Each week the choir at New Hope presents uplifting renditions that seek to minister to the hearts of people and bring glory to God.
