Mission Statement:

As members of First Presbyterian Church of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, we exist as a Christian community, a fellowship of believers in Christ and dedicated to the principles of Christ. We acknowledge that we are called to love God, and our neighbors as ourselves. In fulfilling this mandate we accept and acknowledge the need of faith in our lives; the efficacy of prayer; the responsibility to preach the Gospel, administer the sacraments, seek truth and minister to the needs of others; and the responsibility to provide for Christian Education of children and members of the church community.

Our Chancel Choir provides church members with the opportunity to share their musical talents, thereby serving to enrich and enhance the worship experience at First Presbyterian Church.

All are welcome to worship the living Triune God, as we feature Traditional services of worship, emphasis upon the mission of Jesus Christ, learning of the Word of God, and enjoyment of Christian fellowship.
