Worship Opportunities
Contemporary Worship
Sundays at 8:30 A.M., people begin gathering for a contemporary praise service in the Activities Center. This is an informal worship celebration led by a praise band and featuring more contemporary music. Persons seeking a less formal and less traditional worship experience easily find a home in this celebration.
Traditional Worship
Sundays at 10:55 A.M., the organ begins to swell in the sanctuary and our second worship celebration begins. This service features the Sanctuary Choir and familiar traditional hymns of the church. Persons who are comfortable in a more traditional worship celebration find this service a powerful experience.
In addition to these regular worship opportunities, throughout the year special worship celebrations are held in connection with Advent, Christmas, Lent and Holy Week. Information about these services is available during these seasons of the year.
Worship in Spanish
The members of our Hispanic community gather at 11:00 a.m. Sundays for a time of singing led by members of the community and a short message.
Prepare Your Hearts
Tuesdays at 6:30 PM an informal worship celebration led by a praise band and featuring more contemporary music.
OUR MUSIC MINISTRY
The Sanctuary Choir
The primary purpose of the choir is to lead the music at the 10:55 worship service each Sunday morning. It also presents special music programs at Christmas and other special occasions and provides leadership and music for revivals and other special services.
Praise Band
The Praise Band leads worship and presents special music for the 8:30 worship service each Sunday morning. They also lead worship for the Tuesday evening worship, "Prepare Your Hearts".
Carillon Handbells
The Carillon Handbell Choir is a full five-octave handbell choir of select musicians. The choir presents beautiful traditional and contemporary music at worship services and special occasions.
We would love to have you join us at Central this Sunday.
