Calvary Baptist Church is an exciting family of believers located in the Oak Grove community west of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

We consist of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are you are assured a very warm welcome at Calvary Baptist Church. It's like coming home!

Our worship times at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm both consist of a variety of songs, scripture reading, and a sermon.

The music ministry at Calvary seeks to praise our Lord through choral, vocal, handbell, and instrumental music. Our worship services consist of both traditional and contemporary styles of music.

The Sanctuary Choir is a team of passionate people who love to sing praises to our LORD and SAVIOR. They lead the worship service on Sunday mornings by providing Choral Praise, and encouraging people in Hymn Singing. The Sanctuary Choir desires to help people encounter the transforming love of Jesus through their music. This choir not only provides service music, but is also responsible in providing Concerts and Seasonal Presentations.

The Children's Choir is made up of 1 - 6 graders. These children provide music throughout the year in the worship services. They will also present musical/dramas and seasonal music.

Reflection is a mixed adult ensemble provides music for worship services and special occasions.

The Adult Handbell Choir is comprised of 11 - 12 ringers. They ring up to 3+ octaves of handbells. They occasionally provide music for worship services and seasonal services such as Christmas, Easter, and Lord's Supper.

The preschoolers who participate in the Preschool Choir sing in the worship services throughout the year, and also present seasonal music and drama.

The Student Choir is made up of students 7-12 grade. The choir is primarily responsible for providing musical leadership on Sunday nights.
