Transfiguration Lutheran Church is a community of faith located in Bloomington, MN. We are a dynamic, welcoming and growing congregation offering something for everyone.
Music plays an integral part in worship at Transfiguration.
Chancel Choir
This mixed choir leads the congregation in hymns, prayers and liturgies at the 9:30 a.m. service from September through May, leads hymn festivals throughout the year and presents an Eastertide cantata.

Praise & Worship Team
These singers and instrumentalists lead the 10:45 a.m. worship service in a contemporary setting.

Confirmation Singers (grades 7-9)
This group serves as song leaders for the weekly Confirmation worship service.
Celebration Singers (grades 3-6) &
Cherub Choir (grades K-2)
Our youngest choirs sing once a month in worship from September to May. They also join together to present musicals and sing on Christmas Eve and Palm Sunday.
Instrumental Groups
Adult Bell Choir
These ringers play pieces of moderate to advanced difficulty about once a month and on Christmas Eve and Easter. The group also supports the congregation during hymns and occasionally merges with the vocal choirs.
Celebration Ringers (grades 6-8)
These ringers play in worship about once a month from September to May, and also on Christmas Eve and Palm Sunday. They occasionally combine with the Cherub or Chancel Choirs.
First Time Chimes (grades 3-5)
These beginning ringers learn bell techniques and music reading skills, and they occasionally provide choral accompaniments for hymns and songs in worship.

Confirmation Band (grades 7-9)
These students rehearse and play for the weekly confirmation worship on Wednesday evenings.
Brass Choir & Flute Choir
These groups of Junior High through adult, play at festive services throughout the church year.
