The Nazarene Church was officially founded in 1907 at Pilot Point, Texas, born out of a phenomenon called "The Holiness Movement." The Church of the Nazarene has sought to maintain biblical principles while remaining relevant to our fast changing world.
Today, the Church of the Nazarene is well over 1 million members strong with missionaries in over 128 world areas. God's presence prevails in our worship together in a continuing display of His majesty, power, love and holiness.
The style of worship at Kalamazoo First Church incorporates a variety of music that is heart-felt, rhythmic, and spirit-filled.
Over 60 people who love to sing, play instruments, participate in drama and visual arts, greet and usher, as well as minister using technology, are involved in Worship Ministries:
