Our congregation extends a warm and friendly welcome to everyone! We open our doors and hearts to the residents and visitors to the Tri-Cities area.
Today First Church congregation seeks to glorify God in worship and through ministry teams. As a congregation, we emphasize people and ministry as primary over programs and buildings.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram's horn--shout for joy before the Lord, the King. Psalm 98:4-6
Our Worship Team includes singers, guitarists (electric, acoustic, and bass), percussionists, woodwind players, and keyboardists, high school age and older support the singing at our morning worship services once every three weeks September-June, with a more contemporary flavor.
Our Senior Choir sings once every three weeks in morning worship, and at special services.
Our Brass Ministry, Pianists, along with Instrumentalists of all ages lead the congregational singing at our evening services on a rotational basis.
Also included in our music ministry: Preschool Choir, Youth Choir and Teen Choir/Ensemble, and a Senior Handbell Choir.
We invite you to join us as we worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. If you cannot make it in person, our services are also broadcast live over the radio. Please see our web site for station information.
