We hold Traditional Sunday morning worship service, that is broadcast on the radio, at our downtown location.
A Contemporary worship service is held Saturday evenings at our Green Wood location. Attire is casual and music is upbeat.
We also offer Taize worship services in the Chapel downtown on Sundays. At this contemplative worship experience we sing, pray, and listen for God's voice in the style and manner of the community in Taize, France. Candles are required, Lava Lamps are welcome.
The Music Program at First United Methodist Church of Ann Arbor has a rich history and significance within the community. It provides multiple opportunities to members of all ages and abilities to praise God through the gift of music while adding a uniquely inspiring dimension to our worship services. Our music ministry also collaborates extensively with local professional musicians and ensembles within the Ann Arbor area.
