Since music is an integral part of our praise and worship, the parish aspires to offer a wide range of music through the weekend and daily liturgies, and various other liturgical celebrations. Under the direction of Marty Cosgrove, the parish currently has an adult choir, cantors, two children’s choirs and an orchestra.
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir sings at the 10:30am Mass on Sundays from September through June, as well as on various holy days throughout the year and at concerts in December and May. A less formal choir sings on Sundays during the summer.
Children’s Choir
The Junior Choir is comprised of children in grades K-2. From September through June, they sing once every 4-6 weeks at the 9:00am Mass.
The Cantate Choir is comprised of children in grades 3-8. From September through June, they sing once every 4-6 weeks at the 9:00am Mass.
Both children's choirs also sing twice a year at local retirement homes and at concerts in December and May with the Adult Choir.
Cantors
Cantors are the leaders of song at all weekend and holy day liturgies. They encourage the assembly's singing and are responsible for teaching new songs and acclamations to the assembly.Parish Orchestra
The Parish Orchestra plays at the 12:15pm Mass on the first Sunday of the month.
