"The mission of FCF Church is to present the life-enriching principles of Christianity in a manner that is relevant and meaningful to all people. We believe that church ought to be the most exciting, encouraging, and meaningful experience of a person's week. We also believe that people need a grace-filled environment where they can meet Christ and continue on their spiritual journey feeling safe, respected, accepted, and understood—not pressured, judged and condemned. We are forever committed to offering a place of healing for hurting people, as well as a place of encouragement and acceptance for anyone who desires to pursue their spiritual journey toward Christ."
With an auditorium that seats nearly 1,200 and a totally cool kids' area, FCF Church is poised to reach more people than ever before. With God's direction and help, we have grown from an average attendance of about 60 people at the close of 1992 to nearly 1,400 people in 2008!
Our Main Part of Our Services
The doors to the main auditorium (at the right side of the foyer) open at 8:40 am for the 9:00 am service, and at 10:55 for the 11:15 am service. The service begins with music played by a live band (drums, guitars, keyboards, etc.) and led by a vocalist or two. The words to the songs are projected on the side screens. We generally stand during the upbeat songs and people will usually clap along. If you're a newcomer, we know the music and songs are unfamiliar to you, so we ask that you relax and participate at a level comfortable for you; sing, or just listen; clap, or just observe.
On some Sundays, you'll enjoy a video clip or drama following the music. These are designed to introduce the theme for that day. They hit on real-life situations we can all relate to, often with a little bit of exaggeration for humor. A unique part of the FCF experience is definitely laughter. We want your experience to be fun and enjoyable, as well as meaningful and relevant to your life.

We do sing hymns - the hymns of today, that is. God has continued to inspire songwriters throughout time, right up to today. Music is the language of a person's soul. Therefore, we believe that the style and rhythm of music in church should be relevant and meaningful to the culture of the people. That's why the music at FCF has the same "sound" and "feel" as music people listen to on the radio today, with lyrics that focus us on the living God.
