Our Music Ministry at Calvary is a vital and living witness to God and to each other through singing, ringing, and playing instruments. The psalm writers call upon us to praise God in this way, and we do so to God's glory alone.
Our programs of utilizing instruments, along with singing and ringing choirs provide opportunities for members of all ages to participate as they are able. We would love to have you join us in God's work! Calvary has the following active music groups:
Calvary Choir - Experienced singers committed to musical excellence. Sings: 11:00AM Worship (sometimes at 9:00AM).
Fellowship Choir - Adult and high school singers that explore a wide variety of styles. Sings: 9:00 AM Worship (sometimes at 11:00AM).
Calvary Ringers - This is an intermediate/advanced Handbell Choir that plays a variety of music and also participates in special events. Rings: Monthly at either 9:00 or 11:00 AM Worship.
Carillon Ringers - An intermediate bell choir for Junior and Senior High Students that explores a variety of music and participates in special events. Rings: Monthly at either 9:00 or 11:00 AM Worship.
Instrumentalists - Intermediate and advanced adults and high school students that accompany our choirs, form small ensembles and present solos.
Praise Band - Sings: 5:00PM Worship (Fellowship Hall)
Calvary Youth Praise - Sings: Weekly at Youth Fellowship (Sundays, 6:00-8:00pm) and periodically at other services throughout the year.
Children's Music - Sings: Monthly 9:00AM Worship (usually 3rd Sunday).
Joyful Noise - 1st - 5th Grades that sing a variety of music periodically in our services.
