St. Martin of Tours is blessed to be the archdiocesan home of the Traditional Latin Mass and proud of The Maris Stella Choir that sings this nearly 2,000-year old Rite with enthusiasm and devotion. The Mass is what matters to this choir and it shows!
Choir Director, Sheree Lally, utilizes many years of vocal and instrumental experience, dedication, and hands-on knowledge of liturgical music to produce the sound and execution that are becoming well known in Louisville. The Maris Stella Choir is recognized in the large national Traditional Mass movement, and expects to gain an international following with the commencement of the new Webcast Internet transmission of the 12:30 High Mass from St. Martin's.
Latin is still the official universal language of the Church and Mrs. Lally and her choir sing it fluently with the expert accompaniment of Organist, Mary Helen Zimmerman
