We are grateful to be a congregation that celebrates the diversity of the human experience, values the participation and leadership of both men and women, and understands that people worship in many ways. That has led to creating three distinct worship experiences each Sunday morning: 8:30 a.m., a traditional service; 9:45 a.m., a contemporary, multi-media service; and 11:00 a.m., a service that blends traditional with contemporary.

Our Music Ministry
Chancel Choir
The purpose of the Florence Christian Church Chancel Choir is to provide music and musical leadership for the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services on Sunday mornings. We also sing for special services such as Christmas Eve and Ash Wednesday. In addition, we take opportunities to sing for occasional community events as a service of mission.

Praise Team
The purpose of the Praise Team at Florence Christian Church is to provide music and musical leadership for the 9:45 worship celebration each Sunday. The Praise Team is made up of faithful men and women who desire to share music in a more contemporary style and setting. This group combines singers and instrumentalists who are confident sharing their gift of music in service to God with others.

Senior Choir
The Purpose of the Florence Christian Center Senior Choir is to provide music and musical leadership for the weekly Chapel service at the Senior Center. We also sing occasional at the Florence Christian Church worship services and various events at the Senior Center and around town.

Youth Musical
Each Fall the youth of Florence Christian Church present a musical that helps to teach the participants and the audience about the Christian faith and scriptures.

Handbells
Florence Christian Church is blessed to have five octaves of Schulmerick Handbells that are used to enhance our worship experience. Primarily used during special seasons of the Christian year, the handbells help us celebrate Christmas and Easter with their joyful and festive sound.
