Our Mission Statement:
God calls upon us to share the love of Jesus Christ through the Word with all people and to help them to grow spiritually to love, serve, and glorify God.
Worship services at First Lutheran Church are held in three separate worship spaces. Most services are held in the 400-seat Worship Center. It features an 11-rank, 3-manual Reuter organ built in 1962 and remodeled and renovated in 2004.
Saturday evening communion services are held in the Indoor Chapel. This room is more intimate, seating about 40 worshipers.
On summer Sundays when the weather permits, the 8:15 am Sunday service takes place in the Outdoor Chapel. Worshippers bring lawn chairs and blankets and come dressed in casual summer attire. Music is provided by an amplified keyboard.
Throughout the year special music and presentations enhance our worship. The Senior Choir generally sings for the 11:00 service.
The music department enjoys excellent facilities, high quality equipment and has released three CD recordings.
