First United Methodist Church is full of opportunities for people of all ages and interests to grow spiritually and become deeply committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
We offer an excellent music ministry which offers a variety of programs for children, youth and adults. We believe that many forms of Church music, from traditional classical choral works to the latest contemporary Christian music, can reach people's hearts with the joy of faith!
Our Sanctuary Choir sings every Sunday at the 10:55 Celebration Service and also on Communion Sundays at the 8:30 Traditional Service. In addition a Musical Celebration Worship Service is offered in the Christmas and Lenten Season each year.
Most Worship services include vocal and instrumental solos, as well as a variety of instrumental accompaniments.
Our Youth Worship Team leads praise and worship at RZ (RealityZone) every Wednesday night.
The Contemporary Service Worship team leads our praise and worship at our 9:45 Contemporary Service every Sunday.
Our Cherub Choir program involves children from First through Third Grade and sing twice a month. They also present a Christmas Musical each year.
